Hi all. I have been in the Apple iPhone upgrade program since the beginning of the program. Last night I was trying to get my pre order started and I was declined from citizens due to unable to verify identity. Which is odd seeing as I have a loan currently for the 16 pro I currently have

Anyway. I called citizens and they said it can take up to 4 days to review my application. Has this happened to anyone else? If so. Is there anything I can do to try to resolve before Friday ?

Thanks

I am running into the same exact situation. When I put the request and it was denied, it said they would reach out in 24 hours to verify identity but when I called Citizens next day, I was given 4 days. Very frustrating and I have been in the program for 2 years now.

I have tried calling back a few time - and recently when they went to transfer me to a supervisor - I was on hold for about 15 mins then the rep came back on the line and said they are too busy and that the supervisor would call me back. That was yesterday...and nothing.
I was also told that if I try to re-apply again that it would possibly further delay them verifying me?
Are you planning on trying to re-appy tomorrow if you don't hear back from them by then?

Do you have any sort of Fraud Alert set up on Equifax (this is different from a credit freeze)? That's what causes the identity verification. The Fraud Alert makes it so no one can hit your credit at all until you verify that it's you who is actually doing it.

I am going to try again tomorrow. I just called them about 30 minutes ago and this time they got supervisor but then said I have to wait 2 days and nothing they can do. It’s so frustrating. I looked at equifax that someone mentioned earlier, I did have an initial fraud that I turned off. Tried again and same issue. I may have tried too early. I plan to try again tomorrow, if not. Unfortunately I may have to get without the iPhone upgrade program.

I am experiencing the same problem, been on call with citizens the entire day from supervisor to supervisor. Been with IUP for 4 years now. I do have a credit alert not credit freeze with equifax got that removed earlier today applied 3 hours later still rejected because could not verify identity. No supervisor could help with issue manually told them I’ll send them whatever they need no luck. Will try again tomorrow morning. Never had this happen before anyone know what to do?
