Iphone upgrade program or 2 year contract?

I'm so torn between the options. I'm thinking of seeing how it plays out before the 7 but then again I don't want to be sitting there watching next year's keynote and wishing I signed up for the program this year.
I have about $500 saved up right now.

What are you guys planning on doing?

Do you plan on staying with your current carrier for 2 more years? If yes then take advantage of the subsidy.
The program will not go away, its like a payment plan where you can trade in the old device, get a new one and continue making monthly payments on the phone.

24 payments to pay it off in full and keep it.
