I've got a question that is most likely stupid, but figured I'd ask anyways.

My wife and I are on the iPhone Upgrade Program (as of last year), so this is the first time I'll be upgrading through the program.

We live in the US, but will be traveling internationally when the new iPhone's are announced and pre-orders begin.

Will we encounter any issues pre-ordering the new iPhones while traveling internationally? My gut tells me it makes no difference where I am physically when I order the new phones, but want to make sure there are no potential issues we'd encounter. We'll arrive back home in the States about 5 days before the new phones are actually available, but again we'll be abroad on the day pre-ordering is available.

You should be fine pre ordering without any issues. Just need to know when the pre order start time at your current location. I was able to order online while I was over seas without any issues and was able to picked it up at the Apple store in U.S without any issues as I have selected that store.

Thanks for the response - that is what I figured, but I'd rather ask to make sure.

If anyone else has any similar experiences it'd be great to hear!
