I would like to acquire an iPhone 8 Plus via the IUP and would like to pick it up on Monday, September 25. However, there is no way to schedule the day of pickup and my store is still showing pickup on Friday, September 22.
I stopped into the Apple Store this morning and was told by an associate that I could reserve it now (i.e. use the 22nd as the selected day) and pick it up on 9/25. According to the associate, Apple will hold the iPhone for me until I arrive (I believe he said they would hold it for 14 days but I may have misheard him).
I'm looking for some confirmation here, based on experience. Is this true?
