iPhone 11 Pro iPhone Upgrade Program -- what if old phone isn't backed up my appointment time?

Pretty simple question I can't find an answer to on Google.
I have an appointment to pick up my new phone this afternoon.
Sadly, I've been out of the country with slow WiFi, and couldn't back up my phone until today. It's giving me estimates to finish that are past my appointment time.

I don't see an option to move my appointment window.
Does anyone know if I can go get my new phone but hold off a couple days on trading in my old one?

Good luck. Typically the Apple Store will tell you to come back because they don’t support in store backups.

Head to a Starbucks or coffee shop and do a manual cloud backup before the appointment?

You could also try a direct backup on your computer via iTunes, that might be faster if the wifi is too slow.
