I have an original iPhone that is unlocked and jailbroken running tmobile on 2.0. I've been trying to figure out if I can get the 3.0 upgrade, and from what I'm reading nothing directly answers my question so I thought I would just ask. Because of the phone I have, all I have to do is press update on itunes and it will put the 3.0 update and I'll have that and still have an unlocked phone I can use on tmobile? or do I have to go through pwnage or something else to get it to some other firmware. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Since you have used a jailbreak/unlock with your phone, I would wait on updating to 3.0. I just read a post of someone who got pseudo-bricked because of it.

It shouldn't be long... the dev team works hours and hours to get stuff working :D
