Hi guys,

I currently have an iPhone 4S on a pay monthly contract with Vodafone.

Is it possible for me to sell my iPhone 4S and buy a PAYG iPhone 5 and continue to use my current contract/Sim in the new device?

Thank you,

- Vodouman

Yes. (You would need to cut your sim down to fit though, or ask Vodafone for a new nano sim).

eBay it / stick it up on gumtree. Thats what I/most done who are on contracts ;)

Excellent. Thank you both for your quick replies.

EDIT:

When selling my current 4S, is it locked to the Vodafone network or can I advertise it as unlocked to any network?

If you got it on contract from Vodafone it will be locked to Vodafone (unless you specifically request that they unlock it for you).

No worries.

Test your iPhone 4s with other sims (either try it with a families sim card or request a free sim from o2's website). If other sim cards work in your iPhone, you can advertise it as 'unlocked'.
