iPhone USB tethering

Hi community,

I've got an iPhone 3GS I usually tether wirelessly. However, for prolonged connections and faster speed, I'd like to use the USB cable, but for some reason, the iPhone doesn't appear among the network interfaces in the relevant Preferences pane.

How to make it appear there?
