Which provider are you using? What kind of plan and whats the cost? I'm looking to get the iphone soon but im not sure which phone company would be most suitable. Any input?
 
There is only one real option: Rogers. (Yes, yes, yes, I know Fido is out there too, but they're owned by Rogers, ergo, ...).

I signed up for the $65 gig plan - I figure I'll try it for a few months and see how my usage ends up before downgrading if it's overkill. So far, I've used about 150 megs in around 2-3 weeks, so it may be worth it for me.

If you ask nicely and make a sincere request, you can usually get some kind of a discount for signing up for a longer term with them for an extra few bucks off.
