IPhone Users in Japan

Good morning all,

Heading back to Japan for 3-4 years and looking to see if there are any IPhone users in Japan and if so, do you go through DoCoMo? Softbank? Are they reasonable regarding data/voice plans?

Aren't iPhones under Softbank CDMA and not unlocked? I know Docomo uses sim cards (GSM) so it might be a good investment to go with Docomo.

All Docomo phones after Summer 2011 are unlocked and usable anywhere in the world~
