iPhone Verification Required

Everytime I go to update an app I get the following message...

Verification Required
before you can make purchases, you must tap continue to sign in, then verify your payment info

I continue to sign in and verify my details but when I go to update the app it prompts me again.

This does not affect me when downloading new apps.

Anyone had this issue and resolved it?

I'm having the exact same problem. Iv contacted apple and they said it's pretty widespread. Their suggestion was to make sure your iTunes billing information is the exact address as on your banks billing info. I did this exactly and it hasn't helped at all. So any other help would be great!

Verification required

I am having the same thing since I combined my iTunes with my wife's. The apps from her phone are requiring verification. I verify everything, but same thing still?

Yep, I get that too here and there.
I guess if you got more than 1 or 2 devices sharing the same appstore login account to sync apps then it checks like that.

This worked for me

On your iPhone - go to settings -> store and logout. Then go to store app and try update again. it'll prompt you for verification again but this time a new message displays and it doesn't loop.

I did that, but still got the loop. Apple is pi&$#ng me off this time.

Need to update your iTunes payment info

Hey, all: I had the same problem. Here's what fixed it for me:

1.) I logged into iTunes on my computer
2.) I logged into my account
3.) Went to 'Edit payment information'
4.) Entered the security code for my credit card.

No problems after that!

How the heck did you figure out that out? Going to "Edit Payment Information" and adding my credit card security code totally did the trick!!!
