I've shot a bunch of nice photos with my iPhone and meant to make kind-of-slideshow thing with iMovie '11.
Not something too complicated, I'd say.

But then the only possible aspect ratios I find in "Project properties" are 16:10 and 4:3, whilst I need for 3:2, and vertical too!

I googled a little bit and I found some threads discussing the "share menu" to eventually be able to get a 3:2 movie, but I need to work with that particular aspect ratio during the editing, otherwise pictures will eventually be all cropped.

Does anybody know how to get the 3:2 aspect ratio in iMovie '11 from the very beginning of movie editing?
I seem to remember I could be done in iMovie '09!

Or is there a good alternative to iMovie which isn't a difficult, professional movie editing program?

Thank you in advance.
