iPhone: iPhone 3gs
jailbroken: yes
recently, I just replaced the my LCD and digitizer for my iPhone. There have been previous cases where I have replaced those parts before. Although, this time I accidently broke the end pieces of the LCD connector on the pcp.

as I applied everything on, it works just fine, but.. I've notice that everything is very dim. I tried adjusting the brightness, but nothing has changed. Maybe it could be the sensors? Maybe it was sbsettings? I can't really uninstall anything because of the dim light. I assume that since I broke the side pieces of the holder of the LCD connector, it won't fully be connected? Is there anyway to replace tha without attempting to solder on a piece? Hopefully, restoring my phone will fix this problem.
I applied my screen on my friends iPhone, and everything is working great? No dim or anything? I really don't know what to do.. I want to go to apple and ask for them to do either a diagnose or something, but I'm afraid they can't do anything about it. Any suggestions?
