I set an alarm on the iPhone to have "Sound: None" and picked the "Alarm" for the Vibration. When I am setting the alarm, the vibrator works as expected and I am able to preview and create different vibrator alarm types. The problem is, when I turn off the phone display and put it in my pocket, when the alarm is supposed to go off, I feel no vibration at all. When I turn on the phone I see that the Alarm is triggered... though I felt absolutely nothing. The switch on my iPhone is set in the down position (silent). Has anyone else encountered this? How do I get around it? I am a little annoyed that the alarm does not trigger in a way that actually alerts me... :(
