Like the title says, for some reason the scrubber/progress bar keeps randomly appearing and then disappearing every few seconds while watching a video on my iPhone 5s (with iOS 8.1). It's almost as if the phone thinks I've tapped the screen during the video. There are no issues with playback at all, but it is incredibly annoying when the video progress and volume bars pop and block half the screen every five or six seconds.
Also, this problem occurs with all players, not just the default Safari player (that includes the Plex and YouTube apps).
I've not been able to find anyone else online who has this problem, which has led me to believe that either it is an extremely rare issue, or there is a really obvious and easy fix somewhere and I've not found it.
Of course, any help would be muchly appreciated.
