I was curious if I send a video clip through text to a person who has an android operated phone, does it still come out blurry? I know this was a problem before but not sure if this is still the case nowadays.

It'll send as MMS through your carriers text service so more than likely it'll look like crap. It's a real pet peeve of mine that carriers don't allow for higher res MMS considering almost everybody has LTE and a data plan now.

I'd suggest sending the video message through WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger as they seem to degrade the video quality far less.
