so the iPods all now have this new voice recording software, right?

can one download the official Apple voice recording software for use on the iPhone 3G?

seemingly trivial question, though i've tried the software on a friend's iPod and i like it enough to hope it's usable on the iPhone that i am planning to buy tomorrow!
