Hey guys,

I accidentally dropped my iPhone with its screen to the ground. The volume rocker came off (I am assuming it broke off or something). Now, I can't see a way to put it back. I am still under warranty. Could I just call Apple up and get a replacement?

Thanks.

Nope, you'll have to get it replaced third party. Warranty doesn't cover accidental damage. You could always try and lie and say it fell off, but I don't think that would hold much ground, considering it takes a hell of a lot of force to break it off.

Actually, it dropped from knee height. I fumbled with my earphones and it just slipped. I didn't think that would generate enough force to break it off! But it did. :(
