I've heard there are various programs that back up text messages (on the iPhone) to your computer. Any recommendations?

Thanks for the lead. I ended up getting an application called Mobile Sync Browser ( http://homepage.mac.com/vaughn/msync/ ). It's still in beta but it works well.....albeit slow.

Now if there was a way to save my voice mails without having to jailbreak my phone! LOL

I know this is an old thread, but it still comes up high in google search, so I am adding to it!

I use a tool called Decipher TextMessage to get my voicemails without jailbreaking. It only works if you have Visual Voicemail though. They also have
a tool for copying texts to your computer. http://deciphertools.com
