Iphone waiting for me at home what are the current JB options?

Ok so confirmed FedEx dropped on phone, so after I activate it what are the options moving forward? The Dev team hasn’t officially released anything correct? Do I wait or use some of the tools out for IOS4? Or does that only apply to non Iphone4’s? I know not every cydia app works, but the ones that do, what JB was being used?

Currently only iPhone 3G and 3GS (Old bootrom) can be jailbroken. Oh and iPod Touch 2G.

There is no JB for the iphone 4... yet.

Geohot apparently has a bootrom explot that he believes will render all hardware (including the iPhone 4 permanently jailbreakable). Of course we're going to have to wait i'd say two weeks at least for that.

However, depending on how similar the i4 hardware is, the Dev Team might be able to get us something as soon as this weekend. (remember the ipad?)

I am hoping the dev team and break it in the next week. I love my iPhone 4 but want my jailbroken abilities.

Same, I cant wait to get my hands back on biteSMS, SBSettings, and Winterboard.
