iPhone/watch charger for macbook?

Hi All,

Does anybody have any experience charging the 2015/2016 macbook with an iPhone charger? One would need a USB A to USB C cable to do so. I am based in the UK and curious about the "folding pin charger", which is very compact. I realise it's only 5W vs. 29W but I'm not sure how this would affect usage.
