Is there an item I can buy or make to boost my iphone 4 wifi antenna?

My workplace has wifi, but it such a huge building that I can not picked it up.
I know of homemade devices i can make to boost wifi router signals, but don't know of anything for iphone.

There isn't anything for this. Your best hope would be a wifi booster for your workplace or an extra router closer to you.

Be glad, where I work we don't even get to access wifi.

They do have something for this now. You can use one of these.
