iPhone will not synch with itunes where are apps?

I have an iPhone 4 and the computer it was synched with died and cannot be restored. I have another computer but cannot load the iPhone. I have applications that I paid for and would like to know if I set up as a new synch will I lose the applications or other things on the iPhone. Can I save the application from the iPhone to the itunes? Thanks for any and all help.

To transfer the apps to the new computer, first you have to authorize it then, right click on the iphone when connect to iTunes > "transfer purchases".

You're good to go after that.
