Ever since most recent updates I get alerts on my phone saying this number can now be used on Apple Watch or mac. idk why it keeps telling me that.

I have iMessage on my Mac and FaceTime to just use my number.

So I don’t know if it’s a bug. Or what.
Anyone else.

Apple loves to bug its users.
I’ve been getting a pop up message to set up an Apple ID for years.

I just got this message again. Saying my phone number is being use on mac and then another saying used in Apple Watch. Wth

I have been getting something similar on my iPhone without the Apple Watch, must be some sort of bug with a hope that they fix it in the future.

Try turning off iMessage on all your devices (Mac, iPhone, Apple Watch), leave it off for 24 hours, then turn it on again.

Also, the eSIM thing that was mentioned is specific to Verizon IIRC. So if you have Verizon that could be the issue as they introduced some bug. For other carriers it's not relevant.
