I'm running the 3.0 Golden master and i have realised that the last few emails i have received containing windows media video files have an icon with the quicktime logo, in 2.2.1 the icon would b a blank document, but now it has been updated to this, does n e 1 have any news about this?

Hopefully apple would allow plugins of some sort to enable wmv files or at least offer some way of converting the file once you receive it.

.wmv Files

I agree. While I have seen some comments suggesting that .wmv files are not that common, that seems to be the only format that receive in emails. I understand the competition between companies and formats, but it seems that Apple could be more responsive to the needs of its customers. It doesn't seem like a conversion app would be possible, but then I am not really a tech!
