iPhone with 4.3, 04.10.01 unlockable?

Hello,

I just bought an iPhone 4 running 4.3, with the 04.10.01 baseband.

Now, I don't purport to know what a baseband is, but I gather it's the thing that prevents me from severing my ties to my curent provider?

Is it possible to carrier unlock this phone right now, or am I still needing to patiently await some breakthrough?

If it is possible, and words of wisdom on how to do it?

If you're willing to travel, the apple stores in Canada sell factory unlocked phones. Obviously, they're full price, but you never have to worry about bb ever.
