iphone with prepaid card.. its not that simple

sorry if this is a repost.
But I have an at&t iphone that
is currently under contract.
what if I want to put an At&t
prepaid card in it will it work.
I am not worried about at&t and the first plan
its complicated.
But I just need to know if the prepaid card will work.

Yes you can use an ATT prepaid sim in your iPhone.
