Well, if anyone has a solution to my problem, that would be GREATLY appreciated.

On Thursday, I upgraded to the unofficial iPhone 2.0 software. Then, on Friday, I did a restore and ended up downloading the official 2.0 software. However, due to the activation woes throughout the day, I couldn't activate it. When I finally could activate it, I was unsure whether the official firmware was the one actually on the iPhone. Thus, I downloaded the official 2.0 manually, option clicked on "Check for Update" in iTunes, and started installing it. However, I had to leave, so I quit out of iTunes, and now my iPhone displays the picture that indicates to connect it to iTunes. Connecting my phone to iTunes does nothing, as an error message appears saying that there is no update server. iTunes doesn't even recognize the iPhone.

I assume that my best bet would be to take it to the Apple Store Genius Bar.

Any suggestions before I do so?
