I have tried everything to restore my phone because I was going to downgrade the os after I did so. My phone is in perminant recovery mode so it's bricked. Here is what it says. "Phone iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred. (1004)" So what do I do? I need help bad.

I panicked. I already deleted from the host but all I had to do is restart my computer. Thanks though, you're a good man.

Okay, I had my blobs saved on the server and also downloaded the downgrade file. I am try to downgrade back to 4.0.1 ok. I have followed all the directions exactly. I have gone into the "host" as an admin and quickly changed that setting but still getting that (1004) error while trying to restore to 4.0.1. Any other suggestions?

After you get that error, go into Tiny Umbrella and select "kick device out of recovery mode". That should do the trick.
