iPhone won’t sleep after tap to wake

So when I touch my screen, it will stay on indefinitely even if I don’t unlock my iPhone. Normally, if I tap to wake, the screen will sleep after like 15 seconds of no input.

I noticed this issue on beta 2 when I pocket dialed emergency contacts twice. The issue still persists with beta 3.

edit: same issue with raise to wake

edit 2: restarting didn’t fix the issue but a hard reset did. Mods feel free to delete this if you want

This also happened to me a few times on iOS13. It was rare but it happened. Didn't think much of it, just pressed the sleep button. I never had it as bad as this, it would happen once and then wouldn't happen for a long time.
