Iphone wont stay charging

Ive tried many different USB cords, Adapters, and different outlets and my Iphone wont stay charging unless it is is a certain position. I tried cleaning all the dust out of the Iphone, still no luck!

The weird thing is, when I am trying to find a position where it will charge, I move around the usb cord. I tried moving the little part where the USB plugs in around to see if it would charge on and off, but it stayed charging!

Im not sure what else to do!

Any advice would be appreciated before I go and get it fixed~

Standard troubleshooting steps in the following order:

1. Reset: Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the apple logo, then release. Ignore the slide to power off.

If no change, continue:

2. Restore your phone from a backup, note: if the problem is related to corrupt data stored in your backup, while this will restore a fresh OS, it will also restore the problem.

If no change, continue:

3. Restore as a "new" phone in iTunes and re-sync your content. All saved data will be lost.
If no change, make an appointment at an Apple store, or call Apple Care if you purchased such.

If problem persists I would consider having a replacement done.
