Hello all.

I've had an iPhone 3GS since April and had no problems. In the last few weeks - whenever I try and sync it with iTunes I get this message:-

"The iPhone Cannot Be Synced. The Required File Cannot Be Found."

If I press ok, it then syncs everything, except photos. I created an album today for iPhone Wallpapers and it will display the same message, and then when I press ok, it finishes, then when I check my albums it doesn't update.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

If it is any help - I am running 4.0.2 iPhone Software, I have the latest iTunes and the phone is NOT jail-broken or unlocked.

I'd appreciate any help.

Thank you :D

Are you on a Mac or PC? Are you using iPhoto? You might try to unclick "Sync all Photos" from iTunes and then re-click it. It's possible that there is a bad file in your photo library that iTunes doesn't like. Check the extensions to make sure.

Ah that worked, thank you! I was reading a few places online that it was an issue with the phone and I had to take it back to Apple! (I just followed you on Twitter by the way)

I'm sorry I ended up making a thread about this. But thanks :D

My phone is doing that as well. I have never jailbroken or anything. Just plain old syncing like normal. 32gb i phone 4. I tried deselecting the sync all photos and rechecked it. It worked for the next sync but now it is doing it again. Dont know what is causing it. It shows up at the end of the sync during the photo part but not sure if that is the culprit. Any help is appreciated.
