Iphone won't sync to Mac !

I upgraded the iPhone to iOS 9. Now the items on my MBA won't sync to the iPhone ! How do I get the iPhone to capture the stuff the MBA writes to iCloud ? What settings should I look at ?

UPDATE - I seem to have fixed the problem by deleting everything and restoring from a backup. Didn't expect to have to have to do this with Apple !
