iPhone X iPhone X and a Bluetooth espresso machine

Ok, so I bought a nespresso machine that has a Bluetooth functionality. My issue is that I cannot see the machine in my list of Bluetooth devices. However, my friend’s Samsung Galaxy can see the signal fine. I also download a free Bluetooth scanner app for iOS and it also sees the Bluetooth signal from the machine, but none of my Apple devices do (iPhone X, iPad Pro, MacBook Air). Any ideas what could be the issue?

You’re going to need the unit’s app to control it and may need to set it up in there.
