iPhone X Apple Cases Not Available At Launch?

I’m showing no stock in stores for iPhone X Leather or Silicone cases until Nov 8 in the Bay Area, including Infinite Loop.

Even expedited shipping for $16 won’t guarantee arrival by 11/3.

This seems like a huge miss. Anyone know what’s going on here?

Interesting. I was able to order my Apple leather for November 1 delivery. All colors for leather and silicone are showing up as in stock on apple.com with free shipping right now for me.

I’m showing Black Leather and White Silicone ship in 3-5 days. And it seems to be all colors... That’s the issue.

The delivery window for $16 expedited shipping is 11/3 to 11/7.

Standard free shipping delivers 11/6 to 11/8.

Guess I waited too long to order and they’re awaiting another shipment?
 
You waited too long to order. I ordered at 3:20am on preorder night and my leather case will be here on Nov 1. The only reason they all say they are available after launch now is because the first stock has already sold.

I was told by a rep at an Apple store in my town they would begin receiving cases on Wednesday. Just in time to get them out for the craziness of launch day

This. If you didn’t order the same night preorders on the phone went live, they’re likely sold out.

This as well. The case I ordered is being delivered to the store on Wednesday and that stock is probably already spoken for through preorders as well.

Picked up an OB Defender yesterday. Was so glad to see them available before my phone arrives.
 
In the UK (London) at least it is definitely not possible to order one for launch day either in-store Pickup (7th nov) or delivery 5th-8th (free delivery) or 3rd-7th (£5 delivery).

Store pickup slipped from 6th to 7th in front of my eyes, so I assume at zero hour there were some.

I am counting on the Apple Store I Pickup my phone from having one or two in stock, or it’s a cheap amazon case while I wait.

They were available on the UK store on launch morning. I ordered an Apple 'iPhone X Leather Case - Black' at 8:31. It is currently Preparing for dispatch and is due to be delivered 1st November.

Yeah, that’s what I meant by assuming there were some at zero hour. I got caught up in the hype and didn’t try to order a case until about 10am.

Same here, i ordered a black apple leather case for the X as soon as i preordered my X. these apple leather cases will be hard to find in stores for some time, i learned the hard way last year when i got my 7 Plus and couldnt find the black apple leather case at any nearby apple store for at least 2 weeks.
 
Ordered product red silicone on Saturday night with an expected nov 8 delivery. Shipped today and arriving on the 1st with free shipping.

There is a delivery date of 11/1 in the email I received from Apple.
This is one reason I never upgrade shipping with Apple. They always “over deliver”, which is a good thing.
 
Which Apple Leather Case will be best suited for the iPHone X Silver model and which one will be best suited for the Space Gray model?
 
I ordered Cosmos Blue last night. Delivery date 11/15-11/22. I waited too long to place the order. Oh well, you live and learn.

I plan on going to my local Apple store on Friday or Saturday. Will they have stock on hand? Or all sold out and reserved store pickup orders?
