after less than a year. Absurd. Should I take it to the Genius Bar and ask for a replacement while it is still under warranty?
Thanks for the advice. I know AppleCare support is leagues better than in store, but if they tell me 89% is normal for a phone that is less than 10 months old there’s going to be a manager involved next.Apple will tell you that it must fail by their internal tests to get replaced. I tried to get the store to replace my battery that was about 83% on my Mac just before my warranty expired. A store didn't do it, but Apple Care Customer Support did it for me. Be prepared to be told 89% is normal wear and tear. My 8+ dropped to only 99% after being used for about 12 months.
Well, it is normal. Thanks for the advice. I know AppleCare support is leagues better than in store, but if they tell me 89% is normal for a phone that is less than 10 months old there’s going to be a manager involved next.

It has been said already in this thread but I'm going to say it again. Thanks for the advice. I know AppleCare support is leagues better than in store, but if they tell me 89% is normal for a phone that is less than 10 months old there’s going to be a manager involved next.
