Just wondering what people's guess would be on the battery capacity of the x, we know by now the dimensions of the phone, it seems to be 5mm taller and 4mm wider and about 0.5mm thicker than the iPhone 7, last year the 7 got 245 mah more than was in the 6s with the same dimensions, with the x being bigger all round, and the L-shaped battery, could the x have even more than the iPhone 7plus? I think it could have 3000 mah, it's possible the x could have 2500mah gain apart from the L-shaped part.

Was thinking about this today myself.

Hoping it's 3000mAh since the iPhone X will have to power a bigger screen (5.8") than the iPhone 7 plus (5.5") which has a 2900mAh battery itself. I'm realistic though and aware of size constraints trying to fit in a 7 plus sized battery into a device the size of a 6s (which only fits a mere 1715mAh battery).

Fingers crossed :)

Battery life and capacity are still two of the juicy mysteries left about the iPhone X. Wasn't there rumor about a 2-cell L-shaped battery? And some sort of new battery tech that greatly increased efficiency?

A 2,700 mah battery, which is less then the Plus models have had, would be confusing without picking up efficiency from other areas.

What is with all the questions (from people) 2 days before the event? It makes no sense to ask such a question, when you can get your question(s) answered during the keynote or just after.
Well capacity is never mentioned until teardowns, and since this is specifically engineered with stacked internals and first iphone to have L-shaped battery, I would just like to know what people's own opinion is on what the capacity could be, that's all, in fairness there's alot of stupid treads going on that make no since, this is just for people's own guess to what is achievable
