hello
I got my iPhone X a few days ago. Everything was ok for a couple of days then it started to give a dark screen immediately after I insert the passcode. Of course I can’t restart or do anything because the screen is black. I hope I can get a solution.
I’m in Dubai. I bought my iPhone X at Etisalat but I don’t know what I can do or which party to contact because in Etisalat they said I have to contact Apple.

Greetings

Even though this looks more like a hardware issue, there could be a software glitch that is causing the sudden black screen after entering your passcode. The best attempt to fix this before ruling a software issue out is to try a hard reset:

Press volume up button, release
Press volume down button, release
Press and hold side button until Apple logo appears and then release.

I would plug your phone into power while doing this since you can’t see what your battery life is with the screen being black. Once you’re at the “hold side button” step, if the Apple logo doesn’t appear within 10 seconds or less, then you can try plugging the phone into a computer to see if iTunes recognizes it and do a factory restore to see if that will fix the problem. If that doesn’t work, you’ll have to contact Apple.

Thank you
I will try your solution and feed you back.

Actually and frankly speaking iPhone X is the worst phone I have ever got

It’s the most expensive phone but it really disappointed me

It works well for a couple of days then goes back to its deadly problems.

I wish I could return it and buy another phone

Have you tried reinstalling? If that doesn't help, sounds like you might want to contact Apple about it.
