iPhone X Google maps latency 11.2

i’ve tried today google maps on my iphone x and my mobile was too many time confused, loosing position and a lot of latency, basically not working like my iphone 8+...
so i need to understand now if it is my mobile gps faulty or maybe google maps application still not fully compatible... anyone has got same trouble as mine?

I had a similar problem with Google Maps and my X, but Waze worked fine. Haven't tried Google Maps again since that one time yesterday morning.
