I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem.
Twice I have picked up my phone and have been greeted with the white "Hello" screen. It had been working perfectly up until I locked it and set it on my desk or put it in my pocket. It is completely wiped back to factory settings and had to restore it back to my most recent backup. The first time happened on 11/29, which is before the 12/02 bug that I have been reading with about. The second time happened about eight days later.
The first time I chatted with AppleCare and they just said "wow, that shouldn't have happened, we'll document it on your account." The second time, they had me set it up as a totally new phone and told me to take it to be inspected at an Apple Store. The Genius there had no idea either, his only solution was for me to pay Apple for expanded iCloud storage so I could do more frequent backups to iCloud instead of to my computer (so I could restore easier NEXT time); I declined.
It's been about six days now, so I'm just waiting around for it to happen again.
Any thoughts?
