Be Apple.
"What do we do now?"
"I don't know! Our designs are stale."
"We have big home button, what else can we do?"
"I know! Make it all screen! Get rid of home button!"
"What!?"
"People love the button, it is part of everything they do with the phone!"
Make prototype.
"Yay! It works"
"All iPhones all screen now!"
"Wait! What if they don't like it?"
"Oh"
Cook sees consumer hatred. Apple buildings
Burning along with stock price.
"I got it! Make it a special new phone along
With our rehashed iPhone!"
"Yay!"
"Charge more for it! If they still buy all we make... All iPhones all screen forever!"

Yeah, people are going to pay $1000 to play with an animated pile of sh..! Great new features! Iphone 8 is boring and not worth an upgrade.

lol I'm buying an X when it comes out most likely.
 
Everyone all over apple for using the same design. All I can do is laugh at them. It does suck that it's still based off the same design. But. Are you over on android forums crying because the note 8 is essentially a bigger galaxy s8 plus? Because they look identical. Note 8 has more internals and features than the s8 series.

Maybe I'm the only one who noticed this.

If I go for a new iphone I'd pick the iPhone 8 plus instead of the X.
I dont want to deal with face ID and no home button. The added things the iphone X has is slightly bigger screen 5.8 instead of 5.5. And OLED screen instead of LCD.
Not worth it to me to lose touch ID and the home button and pay an extra $200 for it.

The OP at least made it clear that he doesn't like the new iPhone, with a dash of humor and sarcasm, I might add. You, on the other hand, have not really made any meaningful contribution to this thread, apart from mocking the OP and misspelling while you were at it.

As for the OP - I agree that this could very well be a confidence experiment for Apple. They were brave to get rid of the headphone jack last year, so this year it's the home button's turn. ;)

Maybe.
If they sell enough of them they may decide to just do away with adding another level of complexity if it won't score them higher sales.

Oh I like it quite well. I'm disappointed that I can't get a huge one this year, but my post had nothing to do with hate. It was basically a condensed version of the discussions of the last couple of years at Apple.

So you resort to being a grammar nazi, and can't grasp that not everyone (thank god) is an american :)
 
It's the first new design in 4 years... it doesn't matter what it does or how much it costs, people will buy it, and it will sell out instantly.
