Hi all,

I’ve been using the IPhone X for 2 days now and I love it. The only issue I’m having is the vibration notification for incoming calls. It’s very faint. So faint that you can’t even feel it when the phone is in my pocket. For messages or emails notifications the vibration is fine but for calls it’s too low.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is it a setting on the phone or a defect?

Thank you.

I’ve noticed that the Taptic feedback is much fainter than on my 7+. I miss that aspect of the phone.

I find the default vibration setting too faint. I set mine to Alert, you can change it under the ringtone menu.

I don't see the difference. That only changes the pattern, not the strength.

You might try defining a vibration pattern. For example, I use two long vibrations for phone and three less long for text.

Won't make it stronger, but will maybe make more noticeable.

Hi
Having same issue with iPhone 8
We have 4 iPhone 8,7 X, 64
Same setting for all phones.
Only iPhone 8 its vibration too faint for an incoming call while other you can feel their vibrations if I put them on a coffee table while iPhone 8 barely can feel it

Go to Settings>Sounds and Haptic>Ringtone

Set Vibration to Rapid, and Ringtone to Circuit. Try that, then experiment.
