I can get a iPhone X for £380 or an iPhone XS Max for £600, which one would you go for?

Thank you.

Such very different sizes. Spec wise the xs max is the one to go with, newer, faster, better camera. At this point the X is ancient tech vs the newer options.

X all the way. Better reception than the Xs Max. Xs Max has a new antenna design compared to the X. The new design is horrible. In fringe areas the Xs Max will drop the signal, while the X maintains it. I had the Xs Max, and got rid of it because of that issue and kept the X. I now have the 11 Pro, and it has the same poor antenna design that the Xs has. I might get rid of it and go back to the X. Unacceptable that Apple is making phones that are worse with reception than models that are 2 to 4 years older.
