I just took my case off for the first time ever and I have a question for everyone.

Does their iPhone X Power button feel like it’s a bit “pushed in” compared to the volume buttons on the other side of the phone.

Everything works perfectly (it’s very clicky) on mine but it just feels like it doesn’t stick out as much as the volume buttons.

Thanks!

No. It feels exactly the same. and LOLOLOL, while testing I figured out how to take a screen shot. Upper volume simultaneously holding down power. Thanks OP!

Maybe I’m just going crazy because I took the case off (and with the case the side button sticks out a lot).

It’s very clicky, but just looking at it I feel like it doesn’t stick out as much as the volume buttons lol. Maybe it’s throwing me off because the power button is so much larger than the volume buttons.

They look approximately the same to me, the power button actually seems a bit more pronounced on my phone. It could be just the size of the button.

I also had a problem with my lock button. The spring on it wasn't very springy. It was easy to accidentally press the lock button and seemed less pronounced than the volume buttons. I kept activating siri and apple pay by accident while holding the phone or taking it out of my pocket. I thought it was an intentional change until I held someone else's iPhone X and realized mine was defective. I took my phone to Apple to get a second opinon, they agreed it was defective, and I got a replacement 2 days later. The replacement phone's lock button is just as pronounced as the volume buttons and equally easy/difficult to press. It's much better.

Cool - thanks for the feedback. Yeah, mine has a good amount of "click" to it so no accidental clicks for me.

It just doesn't "feel" like it sticks out as much as the volume buttons...but it may feel that way because it's a lot longer (and the volume buttons are shorter).

All in all it works perfectly and I have AC+...so if something ever happens I'll be covered.

Sometimes I think that every iPhone has different specifications for how they are manufactured with buttons. Take the Apple Watch for example, a lot of users seem to complain or think that the digital crown or power button might be defective, because it doesn't have an audible click or it feels very soft when you push it in. But I think it's just manufacture specifications that they're all slightly varied differently when they're manufactured.
