My iphone X (64 gb) which I bought new on Dec 2017 now has a green vertical line in the middle of the screen. never been dropped. I tried doing a soft reset, updating to the latest iOS, still the same. On frequent occasions it would randomly load pages that i didn't tap, randomly type a whole bunch of letters when i try to type a message. when i lift up my phone to unlock it with face ID, and swipe up, sometimes it wont swipe up. it happens about 60% or more of the time.

planning to go to apple store for the https://support.apple.com/iphone-x-display-module-replacement-program

i read and searched the forum regarding the above program. most people have gotten a successful replacement. other times apple denied the replacement because they found no problems.

should I video record the above problems with my iPad mini to show it to the apple store employee just in case when I do bring in my iphone X that day, the phone decides to act normally, and at least that way I have video proof.

i don't really wanna buy a new iphone, but i might no have a choice

It doesn’t hurt to try. The green line isn’t a symptom of the display module issue, it usually is caused by an impact. You can also have the screen replaced if Apple won’t help you instead of buying a new phone... the iPhone X will be an excellent phone for a few more years
