IPhone X should have had Touch ID on rear

No, it shouldn't. Even if the demo wasn't perfect, Touch ID on the back isn't necessarily the answer.

In-display TouchID was the answer, but Apple Engineering failed to get it in in time, even after Tim Cook delayed the ship date for the iPhone X. It looks bad enough as at is.

Agreed, because no one ever had Touch ID fail on them before. I'm willing to give it a chance.

People told me I was an ****** back then.

I think they should have had Face ID and Touch ID on the Apple Logo on the back as an alternative bio input. It would make Apple Pay less awkward for sure.
