Hi there, so my iPhone X this last week has been having some serious issues getting stuck in apps and today I'm 100% stuck. (I'm in the update just before 13.5, FYI)

Late last week it got hung up on an app (I believe it was Skype for business). I force quit and went back in, for it to not work still. A few more force quits and the same result had me go to do a full shutdown/reboot on the phone. When I did the slide to power off, rather than powering off, my phone went into a processing scroll wheel for ~15 minutes. Once that happened it was back to normal, having never powered off and everything worked.

It's now done this same exact thing 4 more times this week, every time it's been a different app (Apple podcast, messages, google maps), until today. It got stuck in the podcast app again, except this time, I can't get it to even power off. It's stuck on the screen (which has gone white, showing just the time/network status at the top and the flick up line on the bottom), I can't flick up, I can't force power down and leaving it alone, just puts it back into standby. It's still seeing fresh messages come in, but if I touch one, I can't get it to go to it, same with notifications on the home screen. On the Home/lock screen I can still get it to access the flashlight and camera, put in my pin (and it unlocks), so I know that the screen is still

I just plugged it into the laptop to try and see about forcing a backup or maybe even doing a wipe and restore and it throws a doesn't recognize my computer and wants me to approve it, but when I do approve it, it then throws a notice that it can't connect to this phone because this computer isn't recognized. My phone is very often charged by this computer and backed up on the regular, so this notice is very out of left field.

So at this point it's 100% stuck. I can't get a reboot, I can't force a factory wipe and it won't do anything else. Thoughts?

I was finally able to get it to do a reboot after a lot of trying with the vol up, vol down, hold power button method. Yeesh. Time for a wipe and restore...
