I have a refurbished X which I bought from giffgaff in May. Touch has stopped responding intermittently and I have to restart it 3 or 4 times a day.
It has a 12 month warranty but giffgaff are notorious for using a third party repairer who refuse warranty claims and come up with bogus faults and repair charges:

The phone is in perfect condition and never been dropped or been near water, so I'll be sending a dossier of evidence when I send it in.
If they try and con me I'll take it to an Apple Store to get repaired and pursue giffgaff for recompense (they won't be the first phone provider I've taken to court).
So after all that waffle, how much do Apple charge for a display module replacement in the UK?
