Iphone X - using landscape

I've got the iPhone 7plus so I'm not hear to bash apple, but there are a couple of things that have to be said that i think most people are either commenting or thinking about, in landscape watching video/games/apps is a real let down with the new X, full screen looks ridiculous with the notch and if you view in 16:9 video you have big borders again, also i presume browsing in landscape is full screen as well which will look stupid, and no landscape plus features either, I was also expecting more battery life with it being all next-gen internals, even the 8/8plus has same battery rating as the 7/7plus, I've got to say I'm disappointed as I was looking forward to the x and with the €1350 (256GB) asking price here in Ireland it's to much, I feel apple are to greedy and are forgetting and ripping off loyal customers that made the company what it is today.
