So I recently got a iPhone XR to replace my iPhone 7.
I have used Hyperlapse to record timelapse movies of sunsets and sunrises.
My iPhone 7 seemed to take much better hyperlapse movies of sunsets/sunrises than the XR does. The XR over exposes the red areas, so the sun was more of a blob than the detailed red graduations of the 7.
I know you can touch the screen to adjust the exposure in hyperlapse, so know how to adjust that to account for the changing light of sunset/sunrise.
I plan on trying the camera's timelapse function (unfortunately, not as adjustable as Hyperlapse) and doing some still photos the next time to see if it's a hardware issue, or Hyperlapse doesn't work as well on the XR.
Anyone know if Hyperlapse has issues with the newest iPhones?
Or any suggestions to get better sunset/sunrise pictures/movies from the XR?
